Races were planned for the "Wire Bridge" on the Carrabassett. It rained 5 inches overnight, and the Carrabassett was very high. The races were moved to Lemon Stream, which joins the Carrabassett just below the Wire Bridge.

By the North Anson Carrabassett gauge, water levels crested at 9,280 cfs at 7:30 am on the 28th.
Water levels dropped considerably (~2.5 ft) over the course of the day from 8,530 cfs at 9:00 to 5,000 cfs at 16:00.

There were a lot of spectators, especially when all of Carrabassett Valley Academy dropped by to cheer on a couple of the racers before heading off to the Go-Carts.
