The New England Canoe Poling Championships will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014, starting at 10:00 AM at the Punch Brook access parking area for the Farmington River at the junction of Route 4 and Route 179 in Burlington, CT. For GPS/Mapquest you can enter 91 Canton Road, Burlington, CT 06013. This is about 1.5 miles northwest on Rt. 4 of the originally advertised location. The race will be in the rapids less then quarter mile down from parking area. Easy to put boats in and pole down and back up. Easy walking access along paved bike path.
